Here are some of the biggest Marvel movies coming in 2021:
Black Widow (May 7th)
One of the most highly anticipated Marvel movies coming out this year is Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson in the titular role. Black Widow takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War and sees Natasha Romanoff go on the run, forced to confront her past as a KGB spy. Alongside Johansson, the cast also features David Harbour, Florence Pugh, and Rachel Weisz.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (July 9th)
Another highly anticipated release, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, will introduce us to the first Asian superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Simu Liu stars as the titular character, who was trained from an early age to become a master of martial arts. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film promises to be an exciting addition to the Marvel franchise.
Eternals (November 5th)
Directed by Chloé Zhao, Eternals boasts one of the most star-studded casts of any Marvel film, featuring Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and Kit Harington, among others. The film will delve into the story of an immortal alien race known as the Eternals, who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years. With such a talented ensemble cast, fans are highly anticipating what Eternals has in store.
Spider-Man 3 (December 17th)
Without a doubt, Spider-Man 3 is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2021. While details of the plot are still unknown, rumors have been circulating that the film will see the return of villains from previous Spider-Man films, including Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin. The film will once again star Tom Holland as Peter Parker, alongside Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon.
